Provide patients clarity and reassurance with a Cancer Check test.
Unable to provide clear answers to questions can be frustrating for patients. A simple blood test can provide more clarity for doctors in facilitating a more proactive approach to their patients' healthcare.
Cancer Check Labs is looking at the entire tumor cell to identify circulating cancer cells (CTCs).
Today's screenings have many challenges. There are five primary screens used for common cancers that typically begin between the ages of 40-75. These include mammograms, colonoscopies, lung CTs, PSA test, and pap smears. But many cancers do not have a screening available such as pancreas, stomach, bladder, kidney, liver, brain, etc., thus making them difficult to detect early.
The current 5 primary screens are invasive, require prep time, and the imaging relies on seeing cancer in an image (ultrasound, CT, X-ray, endoscopic cameras, etc.) in order to detect cancer. Unfortunately, cancer forms and will sometimes spread through the body (metastasis) well before it can be detected on imaging.
Cancer Check can potentially provide screening for all known solid tumors types and subtypes (200+) from a single blood draw. Easy, non-invasive, quick turnaround of results, and most importantly can detect tumor cells in the blood at the smallest levels and as early as stage zero.
