Full-body MRI scans can only see tumors that are big enough to be imaged: they cannot detect at the cellular level like Cancer Check. Other biomarker tests use scraps of cells or limited signals to extrapolate a result, often making it error-prone. Those tests also often only screen for a single type of cancer. At Cancer Check, we don’t like to guess. We detect and capture whole tumor cells that can be visually inspected by a licensed physician to render a result. Further, we capture circulating tumor cells from any type of solid tumor (breast, lung, prostate, liver, brain, etc.) making it a broad-spectrum pan-cancer screen.
The test is only available in the US at this time.
The Cancer check test is a multi-cancer early detection test that screens for more than 200 types of cancer.
Cancer risk increases for everyone as they age regardless of family history. Only around 10% of cancer risk is inherited.
